Marion L. Oakes is a Limited Licensed Professional Counselor. Marion received her Master’s Degree from Spring Arbor University and her undergraduate Bachelor Degree in Human Services from Baker College of Muskegon.

Marion has over 20 years experience as a Certified Addiction Counselor and Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist working with diverse populations impacted by substance use and co-occurring disorders, with special emphasis working with Women and Families. She is also trained in Trauma Informed/Responsive Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

Marion’s eclectic theoretical orientation and her holistic approach to therapy lead the way to her unique style in providing individualized, client-centered, efficient, compassionate guidance and professional counseling services.
