MFC provides services to all individuals, regardless of their ability to pay. A sliding fee discount program is available based on household income and family size (at 200% or below the federal poverty guidelines). Our Patient Assistance Coordinators are available to assist with those uninsured and underinsured to help determine eligibility.
Mitzi Fund
This emergency fund for patients of MFC is used to assist in meeting emergency needs and needs that cannot be met in traditional ways. Staff refer patients in need to the fund, which can offer up to $50 on a one-time basis. This fund is made possible through staff donations and has helped patients with such items as food, clothing, Christmas gifts, prescription co-pays, and other items.
