Primary Medical Services
Comprehensive Family Care
Muskegon Family Care offers a full range of primary care services for everyone in your family. The foundation begins with preventive care (annual checkups, and immunizations) and management of any current illnesses (colds, flu, or infections). Plus, management plans and treatment plans are created for chronic conditions like diabetes, cardiovascular issues, and high blood pressure. Your provider will guide you on a personalized wellness plan that can include ordering tests, ordering labs, prescribing medications, and coordinating with specialists for more complex needs.
Immunizations
MFC offers age-appropriate immunizations and boosters including measles, mumps, rubella (MMR), polio, chickenpox (varicella), diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis (DTaP), Hepatitis A &B, Hib, pneumococcal, HPV, shingles (varicella zoster), influenza and RSV for children. We currently do not have Covid and adult RSV vaccines or travel related recommended vaccines. Most pharmacies will carry Covid and RSV vaccines and should discuss travel vaccines with our local health department for up to date travel vaccine recommendations.
MFC
MFC Providers also can provide information on nutrition, cholesterol levels, weight management, and healthy lifestyle choices. Essentially, primary care is the main point of contact to oversee all healthcare needs including testing and prescription management.
