Pamela is a Certified Peer Recovery Coach through the State of Michigan who has been in recovery for her own substance use and mental health challenges since 2004. She worked as a Medical Assistant and Scribe on the Medication Assisted Treatment Team at Muskegon Family Care since 2014, before she began her journey as a Recovery Coach. Pamela has been active and involved in the recovery community for many years and has worked with other recovery coaches to organize local recovery events. Pamela also has experience in sponsoring individuals through AA and NA. She works with all populations and has a passion for substance use, autism and the LGBTQ community. Pamela serves on the board of an organizations advocating for the rights of LGBTQ. She has real life experience when it comes to mental health and substance use. In Pamela’s free time, she enjoys spending time with her daughters, one who is diagnosed with autism and is part of the LGBTQ population.
