Rachael Graduated with a Degree in social work from Grand Valley State University in 2011. She began her professional career at Catholic Charities of West Michigan where she was a Foster Care Case Manager. Rachael has eight years of substance use and Co-Occurring experience. Her experience began at HealthWest in Muskegon County working on the Assertive Community Treatment Team. She then transitioned to overseeing the HealthWest advisory Council as well as supervising the Recovery Coaches. Rachael has a strong knowledge of substance abuse and Co-Occurring Disorders. Rachael believes in using evidence based practices to help support the population in which she serves. She believes strongly in advocating for the rights of others, and helping them to see their own strengths. Rachael will be completing her CADC over the next six months, with plans of returning to school to further her education.
