Barb earned her Masters of Arts in Psychology at Western Michigan University and her Bachelor’s in Psychology at Baker College. She specializes in working with a variety of individuals from ages 14 to above! Barb has worked extensively with individuals who have survived domestic violence and sexual assault. Barb utilizes a collaborative person-centered, strengths-based and trauma-informed approach to therapy in an effort to foster hope, healing and resilience. Her approach aims to assist individuals in realizing how much strength they have inherently inside them. Barb likes you to feel like you are having coffee with a friend where there may be laughter and tears involved.
