Bunny Punches is a dynamic and results-driven Chief Financial Officer with extensive experience leading financial operations in healthcare and academic environments. She oversees all aspects of accounting, budgeting, payroll, compliance, and strategic financial planning, with a strong focus on data-driven decision-making and operational efficiency. Known for her collaborative leadership style, she works closely with executive leadership, physician teams, and Boards of Directors to align financial strategy with organizational mission and long-term goals.
Currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at Muskegon Family Care, Bunny Punches is responsible for financial reporting, audits, regulatory compliance, budgeting, and financial forecasting. She leads multidisciplinary teams across billing, procurement, accounts payable, payroll, and IT, while ensuring compliance with GAAP and state and federal regulations. Her background includes more than six years as CFO for a federally qualified health center, where she guided revenue cycle management, grant compliance, capital planning, and external audits, and partnered with leadership to drive process improvements and financial stability.
Bunny Punches holds a Master of Science in Administration with a concentration in Research Administration from Central Michigan University, and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Northwood University. Her career reflects a deep commitment to fiscal stewardship, accountability, and supporting organizations that serve their communities.
I relocated to the West side (since it’s the best side) after living in Central Michigan area all my life. My husband and I enjoy spending time with our five children, traveling, antiquing and exploring the lakeshore and all its offerings.
