Heather Herman-Eskola, MSW, LBSW, earned her Bachelor of Social Work degree from Grand Valley State University and her Master of Social Work degree from Michigan State University.
Heather has dedicated more than 30 years of her social work career to the Maternal Infant Health Program (MIHP), serving families across several counties throughout West Michigan. Her extensive experience in the field has provided her with a wealth of knowledge and expertise that she brings to her work with MIHP families.
Heather’s passion for supporting pregnant women, infants, and their families is reflected in her strong advocacy skills and extensive knowledge of community resources. She has developed a broad network of community partnerships that allows her to help connect families with the services and support they need.
Outside of her professional life, Heather is a proud mother of two daughters and a proud grandmother to one very spoiled grandson. She is also a devoted fur mom to her Cocker Spaniel.
In her free time, Heather enjoys spending time with her daughters and grandson and making lasting memories with her family. She considers herself a travel addict and loves exploring new places. She also enjoys cooking, scrapbooking, and taking long walks with her dog.
