Pamela Montgomery

Pamela is a Certified Peer Recovery Coach, Certified Peer Support Specialist, Community Health Worker and a Community Navigator through the State of Michigan who has been in recovery for her own substance use and mental health challenges since 2004. She started in 2014 as a Medical Assistant and Scribe on the Medication Assisted Treatment Team at Muskegon Family Care and has been active and involved in the recovery community for many years. She connects with people by sharing the story of her journey in mental health recovery and SUD recovery. Pamela also has experience in sponsoring individuals through AA and NA but believes in all pathways to recovery. She works with all populations and has a passion for substance use, autism and the LGBTQ community. Pamela works to create a safe space and celebrate the people in this community.
