Renee brings more than 15 years of diverse educational leadership to the Muskegon Family Care Board of Directors. Throughout her career as a classroom teacher, school administrator, and public servant, she has dedicated herself to supporting student achievement and community development.
Renee built her career on a strong academic foundation, earning a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Alabama A&M University and later a Master of Education specializing in K-12 Educational Administration from Texas Southern University.
Currently, Renee serves as the literacy coach at Edgewood Elementary within the Muskegon Heights Public School Academy system — a meaningful full-circle moment, as she is a proud graduate of Muskegon Heights High School. Driven by a deep commitment to her hometown, she is honored to help guide decisions that will directly benefit the members of Muskegon Family Care and its surrounding communities.
